How it is tested
Every Basic Care and Comfort item is also tagged to a step of clinical judgment, because the category tells you WHAT is being asked about and the step tells you what kind of thinking is being asked for. What that means for how you practise it
- Volume alone will not move this category. 6–12% of the exam is a meaningful share, but items are lost at a specific reasoning step, and that step is what the practice has to target.
- Work it against the clock at least sometimes. Every category is tested under the same time pressure as the rest.
- Read the rationale on the ones you got right. A correct answer reached by the wrong route is a wrong answer that has not happened yet.
